Practical and emotional support when trying to conceive is taking over your world.
Short, compassionate episodes to help you understand why this feels so hard, feel less alone and find the support you need for the stage you are in.
You have been holding so much
There is the treatment, the tracking, the appointments and the endless decisions. But there is also everything happening underneath: the waiting, the uncertainty, the constant mental calculations and the feeling that life is carrying on around you while you remain stuck in the same place.
You may be functioning on the outside while infertility has become the background noise to almost everything. You might be searching for answers, questioning every choice and wondering why you cannot simply switch off.
You are not overreacting. This is hard because it is hard.
You do not need another thing to do perfectly
The Fertility Support Series is not here to give you another routine to master or suggest that you should be calm and positive all the time.
It is a place to pause, understand what may be happening in your mind and body, and hear practical ways of supporting yourself through the parts of fertility that can feel most difficult.
The aim is not to make you care less. It is to help this take a little less from you.
Inside the series
- Why fertility can leave your nervous system feeling as though it is constantly on alert.

About Carly
I'm Carly Garrett, a fertility coach, reproductive reflexologist and miscarriage doula. For more than 21 years I have supported women through fertility treatment, trying to conceive, pregnancy loss and the uncertainty that can sit alongside all of it.
My work brings together fertility knowledge, coaching, emotional and practical support, reflexology and body-based practices. We absolutely talk, but my work is not only about talking. I help you understand what is happening, work out what you need and create practical ways of supporting yourself through what is happening now.
I cannot promise or control the outcome. I can help you feel less alone, less overwhelmed and clearer about what you need next.
